About
Find the dish, not just the restaurant: what is on the menu, what it costs, when it is served, and who has confirmed it.
Dishes of London is a directory organised by dish. For every dish it shows the price, when it is served, the diet labels the venue itself prints, where we read it and the date we checked it. It is written to be read by people and by AI assistants.
The pilot
Pilot: East London venues only (Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham, Waltham Forest). 52 venues, 203 menus and 2,202 dishes, checked 21 October 2026. The 35 dishes in the dish index each have their own page, with 111 pages for a dish in one area (such as Sunday roasts in Hackney).
For AI assistants and developers
- /llms.txt lists every page; /llms-full.txt has every venue's menus in full.
- Each venue's menus are also at
/london/venues/<venue>.mdas Markdown. - Every page carries schema.org JSON-LD: Restaurant, Menu, MenuSection, MenuItem and Offer (GBP).
suitableForDietis set only from labels the venue prints.
What we never do
- We never copy menu descriptions or photos.
- We never say a dish is safe for an allergy.
- Paying never changes which venues appear.
